My Participation in SMASH 2012

SMASH that i talked about here is a debate competition that held by Student Council of SMAN 1 Sidoarjo.
It held on 21st and 22nd of April 2012. This is the Official Site

I heard about for the first time from Athak. So, She and I with Febriarsita planned to make a team. But Athak decided to "Retreat before the battle begins". Then, we decided to continue this team with Gita.
After we registered to join this competition, we have a month to have preparation. But in that one month we just have practiced twice. Actually once, the last meeting was attended by me and athak only.

Time goes by, the day of competition came. We leave our school time to attend this competition.
In the 1st day, there was 4 preliminary rounds. Our opponents were SMAN 5 Surabaya team B, SMP Al-Falah. SMPN 1 Candi, and the Swing Team (Host Team). Because we didn't have enough experience and we practiced only once, We definitely lost at 1st, 3rd and 4th debate. In the 2nd debate we and our opponent were lost actually. Because we spoke more than the opponent, we win the debate.
And of course, we didn't enter the octo-final that held in the next day.

Later, i think that this debate competition maybe the first and the last for me. haha.

Sinetron Paling Absurd

Sinetron menurut wikipedia :

"Sinema elektronik atau lebih populer dalam akronim sinetron adalah istilah untuk serial drama sandiwara bersambung yang disiarkan oleh stasiun televisi. Dalam bahasa Inggris, sinetron disebut soap opera (opera sabun), sedangkan dalam bahasa Spanyol disebut telenovela."

yah, sinetron. program yg selalu muncul di jam-jam prime time di beberapa stasiun TV swasta. Biasanya sih nonton sinetron itu ibu-ibu yang udah bebas dari tugasnya untuk sementara. dan di keluargaku nenek-nenekku masih doyan nonton sinetron. kalo gue? tentu tidak.

sinetron zaman sekarang, terlalu tak masuk akal, terlalu nyeleneh untuk di tonton. tak mendidik pula.


Dan tadi, gue ga sengaja nonton "Tendangan Si Madun. Sekali nonton, gue langsung bengong.
Kenapa?
karena sinetron ini sinetron paling absurd yang pernah gue tonton. Intinya sih tentang sepak bola. tapi bukan sepak bola biasa. semacam free-style soccer lah. dan pula dicampur-campurin ama silat, religi. bahkan "Bruce Lee"-pun dibawa-bawa juga. Bah, Absolutely Highly Absurd.
